In the North Atlantic, the German battleship Bismarck sinks the HMS Hood on May 24th killing all but three crewman on what was the pride of the Royal Navy. Fairey Swordfish aircraft from the carrier HMS Ark Royal fatally cripple the German battleship Bismarck in torpedo attack. The attack that follows, by Navy Warships, sinks the Bismarck.

After the war, Adam returns to the office and looks to see who had such a terrible fate. His best friend Ben got shot and dies.

After the war is almost over and the Japanese have almost given up, Adam and two other men are in a foxhole. A mortar shell is shot up into the air and it comes down on them. Rosie jumped on top of Adam and gets blown to pieces, but Adam is saved and gets put into the Marines Hospital. At the end of the story, Adam ends up being alright, the Japanese surrender, and the war is over.
