The first psychological test development company was launched.

Psychological testing is now offered in more places than just research facilities.

Karen Horney published her feministic views of psychoanalytic theory

Aaron Beck sugested behavior played a large roll in depression

1967

Founded Cog Behavioral therapy

First Doctor of Psychology professional degree program in Clinical Psychology

Outward Bound employs mental health professionals

Adventure Therapy

Camp Ramapo was opened in New York

1922

It was the first therapeutic camp developed for emotionally challenged young people.

The Journal of Clinical Psychology was founded.

1945

Dallas Salesmanship Club Camp opened

1946

One of the first of many therapy camps.

Ourward Bound came to the US.

1962

It would soon become a popular camp throughout the 60's and 70's.

Camp Anneewakee was opened

It consisted of two camps one for boys and one for girls

Outward Bound begins programs for troubled youth

Term adventure based counseling became accepted
