Sumiko has the job of cleaning the bath water in her family since she is the littlest girl in her family. Now baths work in there family by the oldest goes first all the way to the youngest girl, so Sumiko is last.

Marsha's birthday party

December 6, 1941 - December 7, 1941

Sumiko went to Marsha's birthday party and when she knocked on the door Marsha's mother told her that she couldn't come in because she was Japanese. Then Marsha's mother grabbed her a slice of cake and gave her her present back and shut the door.

After Pearl Harbor was bombed

December 7, 1941 - December 8, 1941

After Pearl Harbor was bombed Sumiko and her family ran around the house looking for anything that was Japanese then burning it.

The internment camp

December 11, 1941 - April, 1944

Sumiko and her family were shipped to Poston, a internment camp, and there she met a young Mohave boy who might be her first real friend if he ever gets over the fact that they are on his tribe's island.


December 15, 1941 - December 15, 1950

Sumiko and a Mohave boy become best friends and will always will be because Sumiko and her family have to stay there at the little boy's island.

I believe the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor because the United States dropped an atomic bomb on them so that's why the war started I believe.

World war two started because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and so the United States decided to go to war with them.

The United states won

The United States won against the Japanese by dropping two atomic bombs on them which made a huge impact. 50-70 people died in this war and we will know that they saved our lives.

How many people were killed

3,500 were killed by the bombing of Pearl Harbor and yes most people would blame the Japanese by the way I take it, The United States had this coming.
