Created by: Matthew Farrell for the week of: Kings/Chronicles:
This time frame takes place before Israel split into two kingdoms
He was a man after God's own heart. And he was considered to be the standard for how all the kings were to rule; according to God.
He started off good, and he asked God for wisdom. He was the wisest man to ever live. Then his wealth and fame and such, got the best of him and turned from God.
The Northern Kingdom is for those who are the kings of Israel.
This was the last of the golden days for Israel.
This is the approximate time frame when the book of Proverbs was composed. According to many different resources, they state that the book of Proverbs was composed and compiled over 3-4 hundred years; according to the introduction page of the ESV (English Standard Version) Bible -large print- on page 669.
This is the kingdom that had the kings of Judah.
