School Principal decision making: resolves starting CL as a school project for next academic year

Principal explains that the project is going to need a teacher to fulfill the role of Cognitive Lab Teacher.

Then makes a query to see if any teacher who is actually working at the school is interested in the job, and, at the same time, has the right profile for the job.

-Attends a course focused in Project Based Learning through ICT

-Joins a teachers´ network who shares the same experience, having such learning objectives

-Assembles a project contextualized for the school

-First meeting with all teachers at school to mobilize them towards the innovation

-During the first three months it will remain a monthly meeting at school with an ICT coach

CLT will offer coaching and continuous feedback to educators through social networks (FB).

Teachers will learn by immersion in their participation in the CL with the CLT, and K-12, K-11, K-10 students will learn in constructivist project based learning using ICT platforms.

K-9, K-8, K-7 Teachers will learn by immersion in their participation in the CL with the CLT, and K-9, K-8, K-7 students will learn in constructivist project based learning using ICT platforms.

Simultaneously K-12, K-11, K-10 teachers continue alone with their own students, without needing anymore the CLT, as now, after a year of work at the CL, they are well trained

In the third year of CL implementation, school wides CL for K-6. K-5, K-4 students also.

K-6, K-5, K-4 Teachers will learn by immersion in their participation in the CL with the CLT, and K-9, K-8, K-7 students will learn in constructivist project based learning using ICT platforms.

Simultaneously , teachers from K-12 to K-7 continue alone with their own students, without needing anymore the CLT, as now, afterone (or two) years of work at the CL, they are well trained
