Prayer & Conversation Re: God's Desire for His Plans

In-between visits the consultant and leadership are invited to maintain conversation with each other via phone and emails. However the more important conversations are between each person and the Lord to seek out his vision for this CSC.

Recruit Leadership Team

It is important to recruit the most spiritually mature and invested leaders possible. A CSC is a seminal event that alters the direction or nature of mission and ministry, therefore, seeking out the best people for the Leadership Team is critical!

Introduce Leadership Team in Worship

The prominence of the Leadership Team is second only to the formal blessing that is provided. Although there are certainly organizational dynamics in a CSC, the blessing and Godspeed from the Lord and his people is paramount.

Deadlines

The bad news is there are deadlines - lots of deadlines to meet in order to keep the CSC moving as well as coordinate events, times, places and goals with the rest of the team. The good news? There are no surprise deadlines! They are spelled out from the beginning!
