PARTICIPANTS: 646 incoming first-year and transfer students, as well as 2nd-year students who also participated during their first year.
METHOD: Course integration was replaced by email newsletters 3x/semester, prompting students to engage in ePortfolio-related activities. Incoming students were given ePortfolios prior to Welcome Week and prompted to respond to summer readings on Gallatin Commons. Student ePortfolio ambassadors were also invited to speak at orientation.
