Thomas Knight dies, the trial of Clarence Norris ends in a death sentence, the trial of Andy Wright ends in conviction and a sentence of 99 years

Charley Weems ends in conviction and a sentenfce of 75 tears, Ozie Powell pleads guiltey and has a sentence of 20 tears (rape charges are dropped),

Rape charges are dropped foe, Olen Montgomery, Willie Roberson, Eugene Williams, and Roy Wright
