Einstein suggested that light doesn't just travel in waves but also as electrical currents. The little particles are called quanta. He won a Nobel Prive for this discovery.

Einstein proved to the people that it is not true that time and distance are absolutes. This lead to the famous equation of E=mc squared.

Einstein tried to come up with a formula for electromagnetism. He became too frustrated in searching for his breakthrough theory.

He predicted that the sun's gravity would bend the light of another star in 1911, he based his prediction off of the general theory of relativity. In 1919 during the solar eclipse, another scientist was able to prove Einsteins prediction true.

Einstein joined the campaign to end lynching. He considered racism as Americas worst disease.

Einstein warned Roosevelt that Germany was working on a bomb that could destroy the U.S. Roosevelt then started the Manhattan Project.
