Drakes Birth And Death

1543 - 1596

Drake was born in Devonshire, England.

The Judith

1560 - 1568

Drake was given command to sail to Judith by Queen Elizebeth ii. Drake an dhis cousin John Hawkins sailed to Africa and were prisoners. They both got out, but many others died.

First Independent Voyage

1572 - 1573

Drake went on his first independent voyage to Panama to attack them for silver and gold.

Around The World

Approx. 1577 - 1580

Drake and his crew set sail December 13th to attack Spanish settlements. Drake went to Soth America then across the pacific ocean. Drake never intended to go around the world, but he was pushed.


Approx. 1580 - 1581

When Drake came back from his around the world expedition he came back with alot of treasure and Queen Elizebeth l rewarded him by making him a knigh.

Spain And England

1585 - 1586

Between the years of 1585 and 1586 the relations with Spain and England grew worse.

Spain Attacks

1588 - 1589

Spain attacks England in a crescent shape of ships and Drake was the Vice Admiral.

Drake's Last Voyage

1595 - 1596

Drake's last voyage ended when Queen Elizebeth ordered him to attack Spain in Panama to get treasure and he died of a fever.
