The Metropolitan (Met) Stadium in Bloomington MN opened on April 21, 1956 as the home of the Minnesota Twins. In 1961 The Minnesota Vikings played in it. The Vikings and Twins shared the stadium for twenty more years until it closed on December 21, 1981. Met stadium was where the famous Mall of America is located today.

Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis MN was the second of three stadiums the Vikings played in. The Metrodome opened April 3, 1982. The Vikings played their last game there on December 29, 2013. Demolition began on January 18, 2014 and it was torn down in sections.
