Fall Semester 2018

September 5, 2018 - December 20, 2018

Program Evaluation Recommendations Implemented

September 5, 2018

This is when the recommendations for Jamestown's mathematics program will go into effect.

Add/Drop Period

September 5, 2018 - September 12, 2018

This period will be interesting to track to see if students are specifically adding or dropping courses (or the mathematics program as a whole) during this period. This will measure how the updated curriculum is being received by students.

Admission Fall Recruitment Season

September 14, 2018 - November 21, 2018

The period of time admission counselors will be traveling to different high schools and college fairs to gauge interest in Jamestown from prospective students. This will show how the new highlights of the program are being received from the market. At the end of the travel season, there will be data indicating how many prospective students are interested in the mathematics program based on curriculum changes.

Course Evaluations are Distributed

December 10, 2018 - December 14, 2018

These evaluations are at the heart of changes to the mathematics curriculum and structure. This will specifically indicate how students are not only responding to the curriculum changes but how they are responding to the increased support from faculty.

Spring Semester 2019

January 16, 2019 - May 3, 2019

Admission Spring Travel Season

March 11, 2019 - April 19, 2019

The period of time admission counselors will be traveling to different high school college fairs and national college fairs to gauge interest in Jamestown from prospective students. This will show how the new highlights of the program are being received from the market. This period of travel is sporadic and is targeting juniors. If there were any changes or indicators of success from the fall recruitment cycle, spring would be the time to implement changes. At the end of the travel season, there will be data indicating how many prospective students are interested in the mathematics program and what competitors selling points are.

Course Evaluations are Distributed

April 29, 2019 - May 3, 2019
