The old kingdom 2700-2200 B.C.E this time this period was known as age of the pyramids they established a central government and they built tombs for their rulers

2551 B.C.E. - 2538 B.C.E.

Not much was known about khufu.But he was known for being cruel and harsh.Also he was also known building pyramids.Khufu declared himself as God.

Akkadian Empire Begins and Ends

2300 B.C.E - 2100 B.C.E

Military achievement of creating a large army,sargon taught them to fight in tight uniforms,and he taught them a perfect line up.
This achievement was important because he used those skills to win territory for the empire. cultural achievement of their language and art.
3D sculpture.It was also important because eventually their language took the place of Sumerian language and their sculptures created steles to document history.the Akkadian Empire lasted about 200 years and it fell because the territory was too large to control

Senusret greatest accomplishments were in religious architecture, he made temples,shrines and religious monuments.Senusret wanted his memory to live through his monuments. Senusret was a strong leader and ruled a stable Egypt.. Senusret greatest architectural achievement was the white chapel.Which was later recovered by another pharaoh who put it in his own work.And it was later discovered by archaeologist and was reconstructed.

Babylonian Empire Begins and Ends

Babylonian political achievement of the code of Hammurabi that were laws.This achievement was important because the laws unified his empire to preserve order babylonian economic achievement of trade in grain and woven cloth for wood, gold, silver, precious gems, and livestock.Also it was important because it helped build the empire’s economy and connected them with distant lands

Hatshepsut greatest accomplishments were that she was the first female pharaoh, and she was known for encouraging trade.And also her rise in power since few women in Egypt had ever become pharaoh’s.Another thing was she filled her government with loyal people.And she wanted to be treated as a male pharaoh.She also formed an successful trade partnership with other countries.

Ramses was also a peacemaker.Ramses and Hittites were the first to sign the world’s first peace treaty.Ramses was one of the famous pharaoh’s.He reigned for longer than 60 years, longer than any other pharaoh.Also he known for his leadership.

In 301 bc Chandragupta became a jainist monk.and he gave up his throne, he passed the throne to his son.and the empire keep getting bigger.No later than the mauryas ruled all of northern india and much of central india as well.after asoka died the empire began to fall apart.soon after that his son fought for power.And invaders threatened the empire.In 184 bc the last king was killed and india divided into smaller states

270 B.C. - 233 B.C

Won battles for his empire and did good deeds to the people around him.He had wells dug roads built along the roads people planted trees for shade he built houses and he made rules.Also he encouraged the spread of Buddhism in india and asia.

Gupta Empire

320 A.D.

After Mauryan empire fell India remained divided for about 500 years.Eventually a new dynasty was established in India. It was the Gupta empire which took over around 320 ad.Gupta kings built many Hindu temples.the first Gupta emperor was Gupta I. Later on Gupta II took over the throne.during his time on the throne the empire grew more and more . By the middle of the 500's Gupta rule had ended, and India had divided into small kingdoms once more.

Candra Gupta I

Promoted a revival of Hindu writings and worship practices. Also established a university at Nalanda that became one of Asia's greatest centers for Buddhist studies .

Candra Gupta II

375 A.D.

The society reached its highest point during his rule.Also the empire continued to grow eventually stretching all the way across northern India.at the same time it was getting stronger.Also the believed the the Hindu caste system would make their empire stronger.So Gupta considered the caste system as an important part of Indian society
