Egyptians developed hieroglyphics,

3100 BCE


Egypt was united under the first pharaoh named Menes. The formed the Early Kingdom of Egypt.

3000 BCE

The first pyramids were built, this showed their skill in architecture.

2600 BCE

Politics caused Egypt to split up into 2 regions. Memphis was in the north and Thebes was in the south. It made Egypt much less powerful.

2125 BCE

They were introduced to a horse and chariot from a people that invaded their land from Palestine. They lost land, but they gained technology.

1640 BCE

Thebans ran out the Hyskos and helped reunite Egypt. This helped trade and good production increase.
