The Corkscrew was added as the second roller coaster

The Pepsi IMAX Theater was added.

The addition of three waterslides

The addition of two kids rides and it made the park an all age park.

1984

The Red Garter Saloon restaurant was added.

1985

The Northern Lights was added.

1986

Thunder Canyon was added.

1987

Two Speed Slides were added.

1988

Excalibur was added.

1989

Valley Fair added a railroad track

1990

The wave, a flume styled ride was added, they also added a eighteen hole golf course in Challenge park

1992

The White Water Country Waterpark added Hurricane Falls and Ripple Rapids an inner tube ride and Challenge park added Bumper Boats

1993

Berenstein Bear country was added

1994

Hydroblaster, a black enclosed water coaster was added

1995

The Wild Thing was added. Also challenge park added the Rip-Cord

Chaos was added, The restaurant Coasters and they remodeled the front gate area

1997

A new indoor, air-conditioned Galaxy theater was added and they also added an Arcade

1998

Mad Mouse was added in replacement of Wild Rails.

1999

The Power Tower was added and they also added a kid version called Frog Hopper

Steel Venom was added

KidWorks was added, they added a foam Factory and a ride called The Rockin' Tug

Riptide and Skyscraper were added

The X-treme Swing was added

The White Water country waterpark's name was changed to Soak City waterpark and they also added Breakers Bay.

KidWork's name was changed to Planet Snoopy

Breakers Plunge and Breakers Pipeline were added

The North Star was added
