Berlin Wall created

Berlin was divided into 4 different sectors, all controlled by different countries. Germany cut off Americas way to get food to theor part, so they had to air lift food into it. then, Germany reinforced fortification with wall

The Great Proletarian Cultiral Revolution

1966 - 1976

-a far reaching policy that contrarily hampered the very political and economic development that Mao sought
-created by Mao to root out the revisionism
-subjected millions of people to death, humiliation, and persecution.
-the Elite were targets
-did not end untill Maos death, Deng Xiaping took over
