After the Verailles treaty was broken, Nazi troops marched into Rhineland, Rhineland was declared a non-millitary zone. He broke a lot of treatys by doing this. This was his first illegal act he had done scince he becamee in power, he took rhineland back, he did this so they became a lot closer to there rival countries.

Olympic games begin in Berlin.

The olympic games were held in Berlin, Germany, because Hitler wanted to show the other countries of Europe of his new up coming power. This was his first event to show his power. The olympics were held in Germany for the Nazis. Also a black man said to another man who happened to be German, that he did not want to be friends with him anymore infront of the Nazi forces, so the Nazis killed the man infront of his children to set an example of the power they had

This began when a 17 year old Jewish kid killed a minister. Hitler made his secret police to kill, beat up, and do terriable things to jewish people. Jewish peoples windows were smashed, there synagogs were terorized, and there stores were broken into. After that night any one that was Jewish was arrested and sent to a concetration camp for doing nothing, just being Jewish.

On December 7th 1941, Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor. This was a well thought out planned attack on the Harbor. Japans people we intentionaly going to the Harbor to destroy a battle ship which was waiting to attack Japan. The U.S. was caught of gaurd and many americans died. The U.S> sent many men to the Harbor to help fight, but then the Japenise ran out of oil, and they could not go to Hawii because of special treaties. After that, The U.S. Bombed Japan as a sign of payback.

Germans surrender at Stalingrad in the first big defeat of Hitler's armies.

1943

On February 2nd 1943, the rest of the Nazi forces from the battle of Stalingar surrendered. By doing this, the craziest most violent, most deaths war was over. The Nazis wanted to do a secret invasion on the Soviet Union territory, but the harsh weather prevented them from going to Moscoq. It was to cold. So they decided to go to the indestrial city of Stalingrad. The Nazis advanced quickly and there bombs destroyed the majority of the city. But after 2 months the weather was getting to them, and starcation was wearing them out. The Sovient Union gave the Nazi forces an opportunity to surrender in January but Hitler turned it down.
