the television was first introduced to me after a few months I was born, its helped with my education and learning. Especially when I was younger, educational programs such as "playschool," "the wiggles" and others helped further my knowledge with basic literacy and numeracy development.
Some key technological advancements in 1997 were wireless WIFI network standard started in June 1997. Additionally, Microsoft released Internet Explorer 4.0 in September of 1997, as well as Microsoft Office 97.

2005

My parents got a family computer, this was new to me as it was the first time I had connection to the internet outside of school. It helped my education as I could now write things on Microsoft word to print then bring into class, and I also had google where I could find websites on articles, pictures and many more things to help further my education

A key technological advancement in 2005 was MULTICORE PROCESSORS, these helped increase laptop performance and use less energy, YouTube was created in February of 2005

I received my first mobile phone which was a Nokia, the phone allowed me to call, SMS (texts) and use Facebook away from home as it used 3G as internet.
A technological advancement of 2009 was that phones can now navigate using a Global Positioning System (GPS.) there were apps on the app store for apple phones that cost up to $100 (TOMTOM) for this system.

I received my first smart phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace) it really opened up a different world to me as it was the first phone that was touch screen, could play games that weren’t snake or space invaders and was a lot more advanced in technology that my previous phone
A technological advancement that happened in 2011 was Apple released the iPhone 4 and IPhone 4S were released, along with the Samsung Galaxy S phone, which both revolutionized how smart phones work today

For school my year level (then year 10) was involved in a laptop program where laptops were given free of charge but had to be returned at the end of 2015. The laptop helped with schooling as it was convenient and portable so I could work on homework/assignments/revision both at school and away from school. Everything was in folders, and I knew where everything was. I used it frequently throughout my last few tears of schooling and wouldn’t have done as well as what I did without a laptop
Technological advancements in this year is that all of the following were invented Google Glasses, the Pebble Smart watch, the Samsung Galaxy Gear and the Nike+ Fuel band SE. All of these wearable devices are a popular feature in todays era as they all have different features that help everyday life

For my last year of schooling my school implemented interactive whiteboards, the interactive whiteboard allows computer images to be displayed onto a board using a digital projector. The teacher could teacher could then manipulate the elements on the board by using his finger as a mouse, directly on the screen. This helped me learn as I could see what the teacher was emphasizing and putting greater importance on.
Some of the amazing technological advancements of 2015 were Brain Organoids, this is when scientists came up with a strategy of growing human brain cells that can help unlock mental illnesses and dementia. some vehicles also have zero emmissions to help us have a sustainable future
