The Greek/Persian War

499 BC - 449 BC

The Greco-Persian Wars were a series of battles between Persia and the Greek City States. In 449 BC the Greeks claimed victory aftr a decisive win at the Battle of Salamis-in-Cyprus. After the battle a peace treated was signed by Persia thus ending the war.

The Peloponnesian War

April 25, 431 B.C. - 404 BC

The Peloponnesian War was a war fight between the Athens and the Pelponnesian League. The war ended in 404 BC and the Peloponnesians won the war.

Founding of the Roman Empire

27 BC

Rome was founded in 27 BC

Christianity

Christianity came about in 33 CE in initially in Jerusalem through out the nearby eastern countries.

The Middle Ages

401 A.D. - 1500 A.D.

A time period that went from 401 AD to 1500 AD that took place in Europe. It began with the Fall of the Western Roman Empire and merged into the Renaissance Era and The Age of Discovery.
