Boarder of Germany and Poland. Industrial region inhabited by both Germans and Polish. Both wanted it for its steel and iron. Plebiscite saw the region divided into industrial areas to germans and rural to Polish. Both accepted the descision

Aaland Islands

Sweden and Finland wanted them. They appealed to the League who gave them to Finland. Success for LON

Corfu

1923

Greece and Albania had to sort out there boarder. An Italian general had to assess it. The Italian team were ambushed and killed. Mussolini blamed the Greek government. He took Corfu and killed 15 people.LON condemned Mussolini and he publically accepted the LON descion yet in private he got to work on the Conference of Ambassadors and persuaded it to change the League's ruling. Mussolini got his compensation from the Greeks and withdrew from Corfu happily
