Hieroglyphics has more than 600 symbols. The symbols are mostly objects. Historians did not know how to read them until 1799. They started to know how to read them because a French soldier gave them a key they need to read it.

The built big temples for themselves. There for they where known as the Age Of Pyramids.

Khufu

2551 BCE - 2528 BCE

His greatest achievement what the Great Pyramid at Giza.

Middle Kingdom

2000 BCE - 1800 BCE

They enjoyed Achievements. They were called Reunification because they followed years of chaos and disunity.

New Kingdom

1600 BCE - 1100 BCE

Is called the Golden Age because the of the Pharaohs .The Pharaohs increased trade and also built big monuments.

Mali Empire

1600 BCE - 1230 BCE

They flourished because of trade above all else. They used their gold mines within their border.They did have twins

Ghana Empire

1500 BCE - 300 BCE

The Empire grew rich in trade with salt and gold. They traded extensive gold, ivory, and salt. They also introduced camels.

Hatshepsut

1473 BCE - 1456 BCE

Her greatest achievement was becoming the first female pharoah.

Rameses II

1290 BCE - 1224 BCE

One of his greatest achievements is to be the first pharaoh to have a peace treaty.

Kush conquers Egypt

751 BC

The king of Kush took advantage of Egypt's weakness. After the king died his son took over and continued the attack on Egypt.
