After Gautama becomes the Buddha, he gives his first sermon in Sarnath. This is the first time he explains the Noble 8-fold path, 4 noble truths ,and the balance between great comfort and asceticism (extreme physical work). He earns 2 disciples shortly after.
Siddhartha Gautama becomes Buddha or ‘enlightened one’ by realizing that extreme physical work won’t solve human suffering, only releasing yourself from human desires can help you end your suffering.
Gautama dies from bad food he was given by a blacksmith. He is believed to have died a peaceful death. He told his disciples to carry on his teachings.
