Questionnaire Practice

Start writing questionnaire to ask parents at LUPS. I will be aiming to ask simple questions which don’t involve much writing so the parents don’t get bored. I am aiming to get 5 parents to do my questions.

Ask permission about questionnaire

Ask chairman of LUPS if I can ask parents to do questionnaires on my topic. I will get the chairman to look over the questions I want to ask so that I don’t upset any of the parents.

Questionnaire results turned into graphs

August 8, 2016 - August 12, 2016

During this week I want to try and get all of my results into graphs so that I can use these graphs for evaluation. I will make sure that I print off copies so that I can use them as evidence of primary research and so that if one gets lost or ruined then I have backups.

Information about support LUPS parents use

August 16, 2016 - August 19, 2016

During this week I aim to try to find out more information on the types of support in which the parents, who filled out my questionnaire, use to try and help them to cope with the severity of their child(ren). This will allow me to research and investigate how much of this support is actually available. I am going to investigate how much extra support a disabled child needs compared to a non-disabled child.

During this week I want to try and get in contact with the lady from the YouTube video about her disabled son. I will see if I can ask her to fill out a questionnaire for me as well as interviewing her if she is alright with this.

Contact Support Groups and ask questions

August 29, 2016

I am going to be trying to talk to the people who work at the support places in which the parents wrote down and I will ask them questions about their type of support. I think that this job will take a while to try and get in contact with all of the people therefore I have left 2 weeks to do this.

Facts for opening paragraph

During this week I will try to write the facts which I want to use in my opening paragraph. This will help me to think of a good opening paragraph to help engage the reader.

Print screens / emails

September 26, 2016

During this week my aim is to find loads of organisations which I can email about the type of support they offer and if there is enough or not. I will also print off print screens of the email in which I sent as evidence of sending the email.

If the lady or the organisations which the parents suggested from the questionnaire, haven’t gotten back to me by this date then I will try contacting them all by phone.
