Hooked up to a composite TV as a monitor. We got this with originally just the built-in cart slot and an external cassette tape drive. A year later or so we got an actual 5.25" floppy drive for it.
My brother's computer from college. After just one year, he needed an upgrade. An integrated amber-monochrome 9" CRT run by an actual CGA card. Two floppy drives, and upgraded to 512Kb (I think?) and the optional 8087 math co-processor.
Not sure about the date. But this bad boy had VGA!
I bought TWO of these at the same computer fair. My brother wanted one as well.
The first computer that shipped with Mac OS X (preview release) pre-installed!
I loved this thing. 12" screen, could do everything I wanted -- except play games.
