DP week for G10s going into the DP
Summative Assessment of KIs, RLS, KQs, KCs, Personal and Shared Knowledge, and Knowledge Framework as Key Words. Base Assessment on Student's ability to formulate open questions and draw Knowledge Claims.
Will be inviting a teacher from Science Department for a guest lecture

Will be inviting an Art or Music teacher for a guest lecture
Will be inviting a teacher from the Math Department as a guest lecturer.
Students will prepare and deliver their first presentations on a video by Annie Leonard called "Story of Stuff". They will formulate their own KQ to do a presentation on.
Students will plan and research for their final presentation on an IB prescribed KQs
Students will give an unrecorded final presentation for feedback and formative assessments. Students will then refine their presentations.
Final Presentations for IB moderation
Students will use the knowledge frame work and tie it into their CAS
Students will unpack their current units in their group subject using knowledge framework.
Students will learn the skills to write a TOK essays. Students will then plan their essays and write their 1st essays on a topic chosen on February 17th
Students will use the knowledge framework rubric to look at their extended essay.
Students will use the Knowledge Framework to "unpack" their current units in each of their Group Subjects
Students will be given their essay topics as prescribed by the IB. Students will then start planning and gathering information and research for their final essays.
Students will write, and submit their first drafts for feedback and formative assessments.
Students will submit their 2nd draft for feedback and formative assessments
Final Drafts will be submitted to the TOK Coordinator and the DPC for review.
Students Final TOK Essays will be submitted to the IB for the external assessment.
Students chose their own RLS to bring to classes for open discussions. During this time, the students will be in Grade 12 and will be assigned to mentor grade 11 students as they prepare for their first essays.
