Preceden and TimeRime

You may have found Preceden by way of TimeRime.com and wondered how the two sites are connected.

TimeRime was a fantastic timeline maker founded in 2008, but it had to shut down in the fall of 2017. When it closed, we asked whether they would sell us the domain, so that people who went looking for TimeRime would still have a way to make a timeline. They agreed, and we finalized the purchase in December 2017.

Does Preceden have access to the timelines I previously created on TimeRime?

Unfortunately no. The deal covered the domain, not the data, so we do not have the timelines people made on TimeRime. We'd encourage you to rebuild yours here. They will look different, but we think you'll find Preceden works well too.
