Moving Events from One Timeline to Another

If you want to move events from timeline A to timeline B, the easiest way to do it is:

1. Download timeline A as an Excel file
2. Edit the spreadsheet to keep only the events you want to move onto timeline B
3. Import that modified spreadsheet into timeline B
4. Delete the events from timeline A

To download timeline A, click the Share button above it, then the Spreadsheet item, and set File Type to Excel (.xlsx).

Note that step 3 requires a paid plan, since importing a spreadsheet is not available on the free plan.

The spreadsheet carries each event's layer, name, notes, dates, icon and color, but not its images, dependencies or display settings like Milestone. Merge Timelines lists everything that stays behind, so check it before you delete anything from timeline A in step 4.
