We support a wide variety of date formats including:
Few quick notes:
- Where months are spelled out, you can use upper or lower case, and abbreviations are supported
- Commas, either in dates or used to delineate large numbers, are optional
- Years can be shorted two digits, but note: 29 to 99 will be interpreted as 1900s, 0 to 28 as 2000s
- For the years 1 – 99 AD, you need to include the AD after the year (to tell it apart from the shortened modern years)
- Spaces before BC, BCE, and AD are optional, as are those before AM and PM
